He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. Comedian Munchie has the ability to cross cultural, racial, and any other type of barriers to bring the funny! He has performed comedy all over the United States and Germany. He has opened up for Lift City, the largest outdoor Christian festival in Acadiana, Le’Andria Johnson, Gary Owen, Betty Wright, Frankie Beverly, Don “DC” Curry, and Nene Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. He recently wrapped up his, “Y’all Need Jesus” comedy tour. Comedian Munchie truly believes that laughter is good for the soul, and a cheerful heart is good medicine.

Mike Goodwin is a refreshingly funny comedian, keynote speaker, and content delivery coach. His signature bowtie represents his expectation-defying brand of comedy that leaves a variety of audiences – from churches to corporate events to swanky galas – laughing hysterically and completely inspired, without a foul or vulgar word spoken. A native of Camden, South Carolina, holds a master’s degree in Education from the University of South Carolina, is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a former primary and secondary education professional. I love to make people laugh, and am blessed to be able to perform 200-300 dates every year. Ever since I won Star Search (the predecessor to America’s Got Talent for those of you too young to know, or too old to remember), I’ve been in great demand all across the US and all over the world. I combine comedy, ventriloquism and music to provide appropriate entertainment for everything from tailored corporate presentations and commercials to Carnegie Hall, from Second City to churches to Disney cruises.
